The Denton 85th Anniversary is a two-way speaker in the classic bookshelf tradition, beautifully hand veneered in mahogany by furnituremakers Wharfedale, with a recessed frontal baffle and the traditional tungsten fabric grid.

Under the traditional aspect, however, the Denton 85th Anniversary is up to date and uses a mix of traditional and advanced technology. The bass unit is equipped with the innovative cone in Kevlar braided with Wharfedale, mounted on a rigid frame in die casting; this combination offers a rich and detailed output of bass/mediums with superb dynamic performance. The high frequencies are handled by a soft dome acute unit in woven braided with high flow ferrite magnet, designed for an extension of high fluid and detailed frequencies.

These piloting units are combined with a highly studied crossover, almost imperceptible for the listener, which translates into a coherent and seamless musical output, exciting and natural in the rendering of any source material.
