A real classic

Dovedale has an unmistakable family resemblance. It is a three-way table model, a rarity in the modern era, which maintains similar proportions to the classic Dovedale models of the past. Its veneered wooden cabinet has a vintage look, but the finishing standard is quite contemporary: a tribute to the skillful skill required to produce such a diffuser.

The original Dovedale models, dating back to the 1959 W2, updated to the W2/Dovedale in 1965, were well known for their rich and natural sound quality. The new model retains these features but improves performance in each department, with free dynamics and an incredible definition on bass and medium.

Dovedale means the reintroduction of the class and quality of British production in the brand portfolio Wharfedale.

Dovedale is built in the headquarters of the British Hi-Fi at the British headquarters of Wharfedale huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. By incorporating key production, assembly and finishing processes for specially selected products in addition to the research and development function already located there. The existing building has been added a production facility of 9,000 square feet, including a new anecoic chamber, for a total of 25,000 square feet of offices, laboratories and production spaces. This is where Dovedale is produced by highly skilled and experienced speaker experts.
